Service area: Our team is completely mobile, so we come to your home. We service Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. There is no additional driving fee if you are located in the area approximately bounded by I-290/I-88 to the south, Rt-59 to the west, and IL-176 to the north.

Additional driving fees do apply outside this area. Please see our map or contact us for specific pricing.

Euthanasia Home Visit

$375: Includes pain control + anti-anxiety + sedation medicine, euthanasia, as well as making a clay paw print, clipping a lock of fur, and a personalized but anonymous eulogy mailed to you and posted to our A Gentle Goodbye Facebook page, if you would like these keepsakes.

Hospice Care Home Visit

$475: Includes a thorough examination by the doctor, discussion together about quality of life and what to expect, and an email summary of the plan you and the veterinarian have decided on, sent to you and your regular veterinarian.

Quality of Life Home Consultation

$375: Includes an in-home visit by the doctor to discuss your pet’s quality of life, and whether euthanasia would be best at this point. This does not include dispensing any medication or ongoing medical care. If it is best to put your pet to sleep at this time, the doctor will be prepared to do this.

Telehealth Consultation

$195: Includes a thorough 45 minute discussion with our doctor about quality of life and an email summary, as well as any other handouts that might be helpful, or sources for good and accurate information about your pet’s current conditions, sent to you and your regular veterinarian.

Deceased Pet Home Visit

$275: If your pet has passed away at home and you would like aftercare, our aqua-cremation team can come to your home to take him into our care. Includes making a clay paw print, clipping a lock of fur, and a personalized but anonymous eulogy mailed to you, and posted to our A Gentle Goodbye Facebook page, if you would like these keepsakes.

Deceased Pet Veterinary Hospital Visit

$175: If your pet has passed away at home, or you are putting him to sleep at your veterinary hospital, and you would like to utilize our aftercare services, our aqua-cremation team can arrange to come to the veterinary hospital to take him into our care. Includes making a clay paw print, clipping a lock of fur, and a personalized but anonymous eulogy mailed to you, and posted to our A Gentle Goodbye Facebook page, if you would like these keepsakes.

Bringing Deceased Pet to Our Office in Northbrook

If your pet has passed away at home, you can bring him to our office, located in Northbrook, for aftercare (see pricing below). Includes making a clay paw print, clipping a lock of fur, and a personalized but anonymous eulogy mailed to you, and posted to our A Gentle Goodbye Facebook page, if you would like these keepsakes.
