Our hearts are broken and we long for our Tippy. She will live on forever in our hearts. Tippy, you were a special dog and a beloved member of our family. We love you sweet girl.

Tell us about Tippy:
We knew Tippy was the one for us when she rolled over for a belly rub at Wright Way Rescue within minutes of meeting her. Tippy was 6 years old when we adopted her, which was just what we wanted. We were looking for an older dog as we wanted to give an older soul some love. She was with us for almost 9 beautiful years, and she lived to be 14. Before she got sick, some of Tippy's favorite activities were singing (howling) with us, getting lots of belly rubs, and going for long walks so she could run in circles at the park. She had such a gentle way about her, but so much spirit and tenacity. We learned it was 'her way or the highway' for things that mattered most to her, like where or when she wanted to go potty. She was the kind of dog that was completely hyper-focused during walks, a bit more on the wild side, chasing squirrels and barking at whatever moved her to speak. But indoors, she was an entirely different pet--calm and tender. She was always at her happiest when all of us were together, and she could curl up in a ball by our feet. We could feel how much it meant to her to be with us, and we know she felt our infinite love for her.
