Tell us about Tasha: She was sweet, but also stoic, perhaps owing to the fact that she was out in the streets for a while before we took her in. Tasha loved to hike with us and never complained, going up and down mountains for hours at a time. She had a weird way of patting herself on the head as a cue/demand for us to begin petting her (or more often continue after a pause). Another unusual trait: she would smack her lips by way of greeting one of us.
