Salieri
Date of Passing: 01/09/2026
Message to Salieri: Oh my Salieri, Sal, Salie, Salie Boy, Ice Cube - your brother Mr. Sprinkles and I miss you terribly. Mr. Sprinkles still cries that you aren’t there to play with him. I comfort him as much as I can, but nothing is the same as you his beloved little brother. What a sweet and gentle soul you turned out to be. The snuggliest, most affectionate boy I have ever known. I remember the first day I glanced in that carrier that held you and your 4 siblings.
I remember how fearful and spicy you were! You hissed and hissed. You were given such a tragic start to life - orphaned, URI, lice coccidia, and as we would later discover, FeLV - the most vicious virus there is. No wonder you were so afraid. In time, you learned that this world is also full of love and kindness. You learned to love and to trust even when it’s difficult and scary. And you taught me how to do the same.
Thank you for choosing me as your person. I am honored that you chose to share your life with me. I am proud to be your mom. I know you are with Ralphio in a place of peace and comfort. We miss you on this side, but we take comfort knowing that. Please watch over and guide us as we navigate life without you.
Love, Mama and Mr. Sprinkles
Tell us about Salieri: Salieri looks just like my baby Jean “Ralphio” Amadeus Mozart who passed tragically of heart failure in December 2024. I believe that Ralphio sent Sal and his siblings to me because he knew they needed my help. I gave him a name from the Mozart-verse in his honor. He is named after composer Antonio Salieri, which was fitting given his initial spicy nature!
