Message to Roxy: RIP my sweet Roxy. Unfortunately Roxy crossed the rainbow bridge today. Having to say goodbye to my Roxy pup was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I adopted Roxy 13 years ago when she was 1 years old. Roxy was my first dog and rescue. It was the best decision I ever made and she had a huge impact on my life, as I did on hers too. When Roxy came to me she was a sweet, gentle, shy dog who was extremely nervous and had obviously experienced a lot of trauma in her life. The power of love transformed her and she learned to trust people again. She became a happy dog and overcame many of her fears with support from her family. Roxy was a funny dog, whose tail swung in a full circle like a helicopter, she sat like a person, and loved belly rubs. Roxy was my soul dog and we both needed each-other. She made my life better and was always there for me. Roxy loved her little sister, Lyla. She always looked out for and protected her, displayed endless patience for her, allowing Lyla to smother her with love and dress her up in all sorts of costumes. I’m going to miss my Roxy girl. She was the best dog and I will never forget her. 💔 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 🩷

Tell us about Roxy: I adopted Roxy from Magnificent Mutts Rescue when she was one years old. She was a shy, scared, nervous, sweet girl who had clearly experienced a lot of trauma in her first year of life. I taught Roxy what love feels like and how to trust people again and she taught me the same. We both needed and healed eachother. She made a huge impact on my life and I know I did on hers too. She transformed to a happy dog and made tons of progress. Roxy loved belly rubs, bones, sitting like a person, helicopter tail wags, her family and cuddling. Roxy was the best dog and will truly be missed
