Message to Franny: Oh Franny, we miss your sweet face and bossy meows so very much. The way you greeted everyone who walked through the door, reminded me when it was time for your treats, would only drink water fresh from the tap and followed the sunbeams around to nap in. You were and are so loved.
Tell us about Franny: We found Franny at Paws, sequestered in a second floor room away from the other adoptable cats. We were warned she did not play well with others, which for us was fine since we had no plans for another pet. She immediately charmed us with her playful, social nature so we knew right away she’d be our girl. She was 5 years old and named Dijon in the shelter, but we rechristened her Franny—an homage to JD Salinger’s Franny and Zooey. Never a lap cat, Franny expressed her love by cozying up alongside us, sleeping by my side, and following me from room to room. Her absence is felt every day.
