Message to Dixie: Forever Loved – Dixie (2007–2026)
Today we say goodbye to our precious Dixie, our beautiful white cat who gave us 19 years of unconditional love, comfort, and companionship.
Dixie was never “just a cat.” She was family—our fur baby, our comfort, our constant. She had a way of being there exactly when we needed her most, especially during the hardest moments in life. Whether it was a quiet presence, a soft purr, or simply sitting close, she brought us peace and warmth like nothing else could.
We welcomed Dixie into our lives when our son was just 6 years old, and from that moment on, she became part of every chapter of our story. She grew with our family, moved with us from place to place, and filled each house with love, familiarity, and joy.
She was also a loving sister to Georgie and Kane, sharing her space, her spirit, and her gentle heart with them.
Dixie had the most beautiful sparkle in her eyes—a reflection of her sweet soul and the love she carried. That sparkle is something we will miss deeply, along with her presence, her comfort, and the quiet way she made everything feel okay.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are so grateful for every moment, every memory, and every year we were blessed to have her. She gave us a lifetime of love, and that love will stay with us forever.
Run free, sweet Dixie Girl. You will always be in our hearts.

She loved watching the snow come down for hours! She would stand on her hind legs with her two front paws on the windowsill watching in pure amazement!
