Message to Dexter: Travel safely over the rainbow bridge my dear sweet boy to see Molli, Luba and Walt along with the countless friends you had made while with us. You are safe and happy and free of all pain. Know you were loved beyond the moon and sun and back. I miss you so much.
Tell us about Dexter: Dexter was a gentle giant, a true gentleman. Golden as the sun, my little pumpkin boy. He loved everyone. Loving, curious, gentle and protective but gentle. He loved children and was always eager to lick their faces to taste what they recently ate. He was a food connoisseur. If it was good enough for Dexter to eat, then it was good enough for us. He was my best friend. He kept me in shape and moving and on schedule with always wanting to go for walks. Thanks to him I have met so people in my neighborhood as well as my forever love. I still hear him walking around in the house and snoring as he slept. We rescued/adopted Dexter from a shelter. He came with that name, so we didn't want to change it. People would ask if we named after that TV show.
