Message to Daisy and Isla: From one side of the world to the other, sisters never walk alone.
Tell us about Daisy and Isla: The first year we arrived in Guam there was a 3-week period of just torrential downpour constantly. Their litter was flooded out (we think) so their mom abandoned them at someone’s house. When we arrived after seeing the post Daisy and Isla had separated themselves from the rest of the litter and were in a corner by themselves curled together. They were so young and clearly already bonded we decided it would be best for both of them to take both of them. From day one it was clear Daisy was food motivated. She was on oatmeal while we struggled to dropper feed Isla formula. Thick and thin it didn’t matter, they stuck together. Daisy was always Isla’s protector and came running at the slightest whimper. In return, Isla let Daisy eat her food (until I caught on lol). Their favorite thing was to chase lizards through the yard and Daisy loved to swim in the ocean while Isla would climb the ocean side cliffs and rocks. They liked to explore the island, weather permitting, and were spoiled completely rotten. Coming back to the mainland they really found their stride and loved the cooler weather, spending hours outside basking in the sun and chasing squirrels and birds. They will forever be loved and missed.
