Message to Coco: To our sweet Coco, We will miss you always and will love you forever, unconditionally, as you loved us for 18.5 years. A core part of our family, you brought us immeasurable comfort, happiness, love, and support during our highest highs and lowest lows. The heartbreak we feel is a testament to all of the unwavering love you provided us, and we will hold all the memories and laughs close to our hearts forever.
You touched so many lives with your hilarious (and sometimes sassy!) personality, and created a lifetime of memories for your mom, sister, Bellini & Murcia who you came to adore in the final years of your life, neighbors, friends & family. You will forever remain our iconic Coco, our soul dog who was a constant ray of sunshine in our lives. May you enjoy endless treats basking in the sunshine outside, reunited with your best friend Lucy.
Thank you for the adoration, excitement, and comfort you always provided us. We will see you again one day, but until then, may you sleep in eternal peace, snuggled up, knowing we will adore you for eternity.
Tell us about Coco: Coco, when we first spotted you behind the gate, and you immediately flopped on your back for belly rubs, we knew you would be ours. As your sister grew up, you matured alongside her (although, you didn’t get rid of those puppy tendencies until at least year 8), but not without tearing apart the trash can (many, many times) and committing the most insane acrobatics in the search for food.
Thank you for the thousands of toys you brought to us every time we walked through the door, for the protection you provided by always watching and barking at the delivery drivers, and for the heating you gave us in bed as you snuggled up right next to us. You loved your walks & time in the backyard where you often wandered off in search of more smells (but never in the rain/snow/or low temps - that was not for you!), demanded your food, and displayed immense patience as we introduced 2 crazy cats into our home, even allowing them to nibble your ears and steal your bed.
We will love you always. We will miss you forever. But the memories and imprint you made on our hearts will remain there, and we will remember all the cherished memories until we meet again to create new ones. We love you, Coco.
