Cobe was perfect for our family. His nature meshed with ours. He brought love, companionship, warmth, protection and play to our family unit. He is family. He is love and he is loved, always.

Tell us about Cobe:
My husband and I went to look at a puppy that was advertised at the shelter. She was teething and my husband couldn’t pet her without being bitten. He wasn’t sure about her. Then he saw a puppy waking up to all the commotion. He wasn’t barking like the others and my husband noticed. He asked, what about him? Can we pet him? He didn’t bark or bite. Griffin was gentle, quiet, nonchalant kinda way. We took him home and we just got our floors stained Jacobean color and he was the same color as our floors. So we said his name is Jacobean but knew he’ll be called Cobe. Our daughter told us she created his official name: Jacobean Griffin Harrison Rucker, the III but we can call him Cobe and that’s how he got his name.
