Charles

Message to Charles: In fond memory of a handsome Pit Bull mix named Charles. His parents got him when he was around a year and a half old and they had more than 10 years with him. He had originally belonged to their son who gave him the nickname Sir Charles. More recently, he lived with a younger dog brother, Tank, and they got along well.
Tell us about Charles: Charles was the sweetest boy who loved everybody. He had many friends in the neighborhood, both human and canine. He lived by a forest preserve and golf course and enjoyed going there to run and play with his dog friends. He was so well behaved and never needed to be on a leash. He got very excited when a particular neighbor made steak because it meant he would get to come over and have a taste.
His family took great care of him, especially when he was diagnosed with cancer. When his health declined, they only wanted what was best for him. Resting comfortably at home with his parents, Charles passed peacefully.
