Message to Callie:
Callie was my best friend, inspiration for my 2 companies, and a loyal companion. She was by my side through some of the most difficult times in my life and also some of the best times. She had a spitfire personality, was constantly getting into trouble, and always ready for a belly rub. She has instilled a love of the Australian Cattle Dog breed in me. Thank you to Dr. Heather and the entire team for helping me say goodbye. I’m eternally grateful.

Tell us about Callie:
I had just turned 18 and was at an auction to buy a horse when I spotted a litter of puppies on the floor of a horse trailer. They were huddled together trying not to get squished by the horses in the trailer with them. Fearing for their safety, I brought home the entire litter. I found homes for Callie’s siblings and decided I wanted to keep her. She was the runt of the litter, the biggest trouble maker, and had the biggest personality. Of course she had to stay! We enjoyed 12 wonderful years together.
