Bowser

Name: Bowser

Date of Passing: 07/16/2025

Tell us about Bowser: Bowser was given to my husband by his daughter Noelle. He was a dear friend to the three cats in the house, and they all shared peaceful moments together—especially during meals in the kitchen. He loved following me around the house: watching Netflix with me, playing in the backyard while I gardened, and laying on his favorite couch (which he lovingly took from the cats) while I cooked. He even waited for me in the bathroom, so I laid out a soft rug for him there. He greeted me at the door each day with a wagging tail and never left my side. On our walks in the park, when he got tired, he would let me know it was time to be carried—and eventually, he rode in his stroller, enjoying the sights beside me. He had a white teddy bear he cuddled while sleeping, and we would wake up together at 4am every morning. He took his medication and patiently waited for his insulin after breakfast. Once, I found him picking ripe tomatoes in the garden with his snout—he always looked forward to mealtime and let me know with his signature grunting sound. That’s also how he’d “talk” to me. He understood both English and Tagalog—my bilingual little boy. He wore a red t-shirt that said, "I'm the favorite child"—and that was absolutely true. He will always be my sweet, beloved Bowser.
