Bomber
Date of Passing: 03/24/2025
Message to Bomber: Bomber lived to be 20 years old and would have turned 21 in October. He was the sweetest, snuggliest, gentlest cat, and I'm incredibly lucky I got to spend two decades living with him. He wouldn't hurt a fly (he tried; he was just bad at catching them) and only wanted 1) to eat anything that smelled like fish and 2) to sleep curled up on me. I don't think there's another cat out there like Bomber and I'm going to miss him for a very long time.
Tell us about Bomber: I got Bomber when I was just out of college. A friend of mine had adopted him senior year and she couldn't take him with to grad school, so I took him in. He got his name from being a very gassy little kitten, but I rarely called him Bomber. It was usually "little man," "friend cat," or "my favorite tiny guy," all of which are longer than Bomber, but what can you do? He was my favorite tiny guy and it seemed appropriate to let him know that as often as possible.
