Message to Bear: I said goodbye to my best friend last week. My BearBear, my Mr. Stinks, my Pupperoni. I'm so thankful that it was a peaceful exit for him even though it's been a devastating heartbreak for me.

Tell us about Bear: If you knew Bear, you probably knew a few of these things:

**He loved cheese, a ball of any kind, throwing tantrums, and the sunny spot.
**He hated parties and thunderstorms, any type of doggy clothing, his feet being touched, bath time and broccoli (unless it had peanut butter on it... then he might consider it).
**He made you work for his love - that boy played hard to get. Frankly, I sometimes wondered if he even liked ME.
**He saw more of the country than most humans, and was the best road trip companion. He loved to go for a ride.
**He was really good at puzzles, but really bad at understanding how to lay on his bed.
**He may have gotten grumpy with you at some point, but it was all a show - he was the sweetest boy if you'd just leave him alone, damn it. 😂🥲

I was lucky for Bear to be with me for almost 15 years, and while it was still not long enough... it was his time. I'll spend forever missing you and loving you, my boy. I hope you're comfy and happy with a tennis ball and a stinky salmon treat and a huge field of grass to zoomie in right now.
