Message to Baby Girl: BG was the greatest pet I've ever had. I had never had a cat before, but she won me over very quickly. As I often told her mom, they were always each others' #1, but BG was my best friend. I spent more time with that sweet girl than anyone or anything else. She "worked" in my home office with me during the day, we watched TV/played games together in the evenings, and she curled up with me at night. Her absence is absolutely felt every second of every day, and she will never, ever be forgotten, as long as I live. I will love you forever, sweet girl. I'm at least comforted to know that your pain is gone now, but I love you so much and miss you dearly.
Tell us about Baby Girl: I met BG only a few days after I met my (now) wife. The first time I went over to their apartment, BG curled up in my lap and we were inseparable from that point forward. It's both hard to believe it's been 8 years and not, all at the same time, because I can't really remember a time when I didn't have her in my life. She was a great friend, companion, snuggler and confidant. No pet I've ever had loved spending time with me as much as she did, not even the dogs I've had. We were basically inseparable and I don't know that I was ever able to 100% enjoy vacations I took because I hated that she wasn't there with me! I will certainly miss the late nights and early mornings most of all -- heck even my workdays are lonely because she would sleep on the couch in my office while I made money to buy her treats (the only real reason to work, of course). She was truly a great friend and will be missed and loved forever.
