Message to Gemma:
Gemma was the sweetest pea to ever live. She had the softest fur you could imagine, and her soul was even softer.

She is heavily missed and grieved by my wife, our dog Russo, our cat Effie, and myself. She is irreplaceable and was a true angel in life — and now beyond.

Tell us about Gemma:
Gemma was adopted through All Aboard Rescue in Colorado, where she was brought to us after being a stray in Houston for nearly four years.

She had a puppy who was sick and did not make it, and we happened to have a puppy at the time — it felt like fate. She greeted us as if she had been waiting for us.

Gemma developed Degenerative Myelopathy, a disease that was incredibly difficult. The Help ’Em Up harness, a sling, a wheelchair, and other supportive gear allowed us to have extra time with her, but ultimately we did not want her to suffer.

She is always in our hearts and is missed so, so much.
