Message to Pepé: Pepé was the sweetest kitty, with the loudest purr. He loved everyone. No one was a stranger to him. All my Bunco ladies doted on him, and he basked in the attention. He was completely unfazed by the doorbell as well as the vacuum cleaner. He shadowed me everywhere in the house, and slept by my feet every night. He was simply the best.
Tell us about Pepé: I got Pepé from a shelter. My ex and I had made a list of cats we were interested in from looking at their website. As soon as we walked in, Pepé came right up to us and was so affectionate. He was demanding pets and had his 90 decible purr going. I was in love, he was coming home. His name at the shelter was Julius. We changed it to Pepé, for Pepé Le Pew, the cartoon skunk. Pepé loved people, shrimp, catnip, Yeowww! catnip toys, being brushed and feet. He'd sleep on my shoes and by my feet every night. He was the heart and soul of this house. It feels quite empty without him. All of my cats are special, but every once in awhile if you are lucky, you get an extra special cat. That was Pepé. I was so lucky to have him.
