Tell us about Romeo: I first met Romeo when he was eight weeks old, gifted from a friend. I always said I’d pick the first dog that would come to me from a litter. Romeo was actually the second dog to come to me. I was so captivated by him; I knew he was my pup. From the very beginning, he had a special way of stealing all our hearts and making us laugh.
I chose the name Romeo because he was the sweetest, most lovable little pup. Always enjoyed giving us a bunch of kisses! He was my little Romeo. Over the years, he became known for demanding his love and pets from anyone who came to visit. He’d let you know he wasn’t done with his pets by continually scratching his paw on you if he wasn’t getting enough attention. He loved to be outside and bathe in the sun. He constantly acted like his younger brother, Bear, was bothersome. He would growl at him when Bear just wanted to be by him or was invading his space; but once they were separated for a little time, either for a vet visit or a trip, Romeo would come back and be so happy to be reunited with Bear.
He brought so much joy to our home. He always had a way of making every day brighter.
Though he is no longer physically here, Romeo’s love and spirit will always be part of our family’s story.
