Message to Sheeba: Sheeba was a “friend” always there beside me ..she was a devoted and special girl !
Tell us about Sheeba: Sheeba was adopted in summer 2011. Michael and I had been talking about getting a dog for some time. We were on our way home from Illinois State Beach in Zion, when we drove by Save a Pet! We just decided to stop and look to see what dogs they had. Well, you know how that goes.. Sheeba was sitting in a pen surrounded by thirty + barking dogs. She was relaxed and serene like a queen. She came home that day. She was about 2 yrs old at that time. She love chasing deer behind our home when she was young, and as she aged she was a shadow everywhere you went she went. She was wonderful with children, our grandkids , and the dog sitter’s kids. She got poked and dressed up and dragged into forts and tents and did not complain or run away. She was a gentle kind animal.
