Message to Sadie: Sadie you were our 5th Golden Retriever and we weren’t looking for you but we’re so thankful that fate brought you to us. You were with us for almost 13 wonderful years. Thank you for giving us love and companionship that we will treasure forever.
Tell us about Sadie: We had just lost our dear Golden Retriever Dally when I got a call from our pet sitter. She had a client who was desperate to find a new home for her 15 month-old dog as her life circumstances changed suddenly. We were reluctant at first but as soon as we met Sadie we had to say Yes. Sadie soon learned to love us too and we had many happy years together. She was an excellent working-from-home assistant and loved taking walks every day in our neighborhood park. She loved our grandchildren and anyone she met. Sadie loved pancakes on Sunday mornings but most of all she loved her backyard and spent many hours soaking up the sunshine. We are so grateful to Dr. Heather for her kindness and compassion as she brought comfort and dignity to Sadie and us as we said goodbye. Thank you to Dr. Heather and to ‘A Gentle Goodbye’ for being there when needed with support and care. Gary and Debbie
