Message to Riley: It’s been a few weeks and I’m still crying. I still think I catch a glimpse of you out of the corner of my eye. The house is so quiet since you’ve been gone. I always thought I loved being alone, but I’ve now realized I was never alone because you were there. You made us a family. You were so brave and you made me brave. Thank you for all the love, joy and laughter you brought to our lives. I miss you more than words can say. Thank you Riley for a lifetime of love, you will always be my sunshine and will live in my heart forever.
Tell us about Riley: I miss my baby so much. My husband and I had no children so we put a lot of love into our sweet baby Riley. We rescued him from the farm, he was malnourished, bloodied, and battered. He was so teeny he fit into the palm of your hand. Riley grew up to be big and beautiful. He was so protective of us he loved us fiercely and had no tolerance for outsiders. Some of his favorite things were playing outside, wrestling with his dad, watching sports in the man cave, and he gave the best hugs and kisses.
