Tell us about Penelope: We didn't find Penelope, she found us in the middle of Winter. She walked right up to the gate while we shoveled snow and stayed until we were finished. We took her in and looked for an owner but once we figured she didn't have one we eventually took her to the shelter. But she was such a joy that we couldn't forget about her. We would check the shelter website to see if she got adopted. After a few months we went back for her. And every moment since has been a joy. Right away we could tell that she was super smart and mischievous and right away let it be known that she was a leader. She loved playing ball and being competitive. She loved learning new tricks and going for walks. And she would never turn down a treat. She was a fierce protector and loved cuddles.
