Olaf

Message to Olaf: Olaf loved and was kind to everyone. He was always there if you needed a pal after a rough day or someone to come lay down on you after a tragedy or an unfortunate event. When our daughter passed away, I would find myself distraught most of the nights. Olaf would come to give me licks, paw or just come to lay down in my lap. He never nudged or tried to play, but would just want to be there to console me. He was my greatest earthly comfort and truly my greatest friend.
Tell us about Olaf: Olaf was born in Cascade, Iowa on a farm. He was the runt of the litter. Being a Norwegian Elkhound, he was named after the patron saint and King of Norway St Olaf. He enjoyed hikes, climbing rocks, making snow angels, running on the shore and swimming. He always enjoyed just taking it easy, receiving belly rubs and hanging out by the campfire.
