Message to Maggie: Maggie, our beloved four-legged family member, crossed the rainbow bridge after filling our lives with immeasurable joy, comfort, and gentle companionship. From the moment we adopted her in June 2021, she settled into our hearts as if she had always belonged with us.
Maggie was the definition of a “good dog.” She never barked, carried a calm and kind spirit, and greeted both humans and dogs with a friendly wag and soft eyes that instantly put everyone at ease. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and safe — a quiet, loving presence that made our home warmer just by being in it.
A curious girl with perfect comedic timing, Maggie once slipped out during a deck renovation, turning an ordinary morning into a mini adventure. Thankfully, the police scooped her up and returned her home, where she promptly accepted treats as if she had rescued us.
Maggie had a true love for life’s simple pleasures. Her favorite treats were liver snacks, eggs, and sweet potatoes — all enjoyed with enthusiastic tail wags and the polite patience she showed in everything she did.
She gave us comfort on hard days, laughter on good days, and unconditional love every day. Maggie leaves behind a family who adored her, many neighborhood friends (two- and four-legged), and a pawprint on our hearts that time will never erase.
Though our home is quieter now, our hearts are full of gratitude for the years she shared with us. Maggie was truly the best dog we could have ever hoped for — a gentle soul, a steady companion, and a treasured member of our family.
Run free, sweet Maggie. Thank you for choosing us.
