Message to Mac: Thank you, Dr. Heather, for your extraordinary care and compassion. Mac is missed so much by both me and his cat, Mator. We loved him so and nothing is really the same without the clippity-clop of his nails as he swaggered thru the kitchen to the empty spot in my bed at night. Rest easy, sweet boy.

Tell us about Mac: Mac was somewhat of a rescue after his original owner suddenly passed away and no one in the family could take him on. I always assumed he was named for a big Mac truck becuz that's how he was built! I often called him "Macaroni." I also told him often how handsome he was, just in case anyone had ever told him differently! He hadn't been very well socialized and in the beginning really didn't like men for some reason. He was about 5 years old then and still had a lot of spunk. He loved anything with a squeaker, and I never really found a food he wouldn't eat. Not too long after I got him, we had to move in with my mom (and her dog & cat) to care for her. Mac was a great comfort to me when she passed. Our fur babies are like our children and Mac was no exception.
