Message to Luna: Luna was more than just a dog. She was a member of the Nowak family for over 13 years. We adopted Luna in 2013, and from that day forward she filled our home with love and countless cherished memories.
Luna was with us through many milestones, celebrations, and moments that mean even more to us today.
Although saying goodbye to Luna was the hardest decision our family has ever made, we take comfort in knowing that she lived a long, happy, and well-loved life. We love Luna and will miss her every day, but we will forever be grateful for the years, memories, and unconditional love she gave us.
Rest easy, Luna. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
Tell us about Luna: We adopted Luna on August 31, 2013, after rescuing her from a local shelter. Luna very quickly became much more than a pet—she became a member of our family. From the moment we brought her home, she filled our house with happiness, love, and companionship. Luna kept the name "Luna" that she had been given at the shelter.
For over 13 years, Luna was there through many of our family's milestones, holidays, celebrations, and everyday moments. No matter where we were coming home from, Luna would always greet us at the door. She was always by our side and had a special way of making even the ordinary days brighter.
Shortly after her adoption, Luna made a lifelong friend in our neighbors' dog, Lily. From a young age, Luna loved playing with Lily, and one of our favorite memories is watching them chase each other around a coffee table.
When she wasn't spending time with her friend Lily, Luna's favorite thing was being with her family. She loved spending time with us and being included in whatever was happening around the house. Her loving personality made her a constant source of comfort, joy, and companionship.
As Luna grew older, we did everything we could to give her the best, happiest, and healthiest life possible. Although saying goodbye was incredibly difficult, we are grateful for the many years we shared together and for all the memories Luna gave us.
Luna will always hold a special place in our hearts. We miss her greatly and will never forget the love, loyalty, and happiness she brought into our lives.
