Message to Campis: She was such a silly girl, always making us smile with her personality. She was always full of energy, running around the house to greet every one of us in the morning. She’d take turns choosing with who and where to sleep for the night. She was the sweetest girl, and loved warming her way into everyone’s hearts.

Tell us about Campis: This happened a long time ago, around when I was 10 (I’m now 23), where someone’s chihuahua had too many pups and was willing to give one to my family. My mom picked her out, and we took her home. She was so tiny, so afraid of everything. I remember so vividly that night going out of my room to comfort our new fur baby, but she barked at me as she was afraid. With time, she grew to love each one of us. We named her Campis, short for Campanita (which in Spanish means “little bell”). My younger brother named her, as we had known another chihuahua with the name Campanita. Campis was very energetic, such a silly little girl who was always running around everywhere and doing her little dances for her favorite snacks. She loved pupperonis, constantly choosing them over other snacks. She also loved going out, and near the end of her days, I would often carry her around our local outdoor mall. She was an adorable little pistol of a girl.
