Message to Buckeye: Sweet Buckeye was our adorable black Yorkie poo. He had a long life of 16 years. We were so lucky to have him for so long. His 10 year old Cavapoo sister definitely notices his absence. We miss and love him dearly.

Tell us about Buckeye: We wanted a small dog for our 3 young kids back in 2008. There were all these sweet little white and brown dogs crying at our feet. Buck was running around the yard playing with toys! My husband pointed at him and said “we want that one!” He was a wild and energetic puppy and dog!

A few weeks after we had him he started jumping every time he wanted everything. I’ve never seen a dog jump so high!!! Especially when it came to treats. He LOVED to eat. Never lost his appetite. Even in his final days.

My husband graduated from Ohio State University as did many of our family members, hence the name of the OSU mascot, Buckeye! He lived a long and very healthy life! We were so lucky and happy to have Dr. Heather here to help us through his final moments. We are forever grateful to the whole Gentle Goodbye team.
