Bella
Name: Bella
Date of Passing: 06/20/2026
Message to Bella: We apologize for not getting back to you any sooner. Thank you for the thoughtful follow-up telephone call and email. We appreciated Dr Molly and your fine organization's concern for the well being of our pet as well as ourselves. Since our Bella was frightened of all strangers, we were so pleased how Dr Molly handled the situation. Bella was so calm and at peace during her passing. We couldn't ask for more, considering the circumstances.
Tell us about Bella: Not surprisingly, we got Bella by chance. Our grandchildren discovered her wandering by their house; because they owned a dog, she couldn't be taken in. We took her in temporarily, while she was checked out by a vet and posters were distributed around the neighborhood. We found out that she was a year old, in good health, neutered, and had her front nails removed, but no identifying chip. How she got lost, we have no idea, but no one ever responded to our inquiries. After two weeks, Bella liked our home and decided to have us as her caretakers. She was not a fussy eater and drank a lot of water. She shared us equally, allowing specific times for our laps while we watched TV at night. She made sure her bowls were full and litter box clean; she even had a special routine for her [our] bedtime. We had her for over 19 years. We still look for her at her favorite perches. As part of our family, she will be deeply missed.
